Here is a lovely little animation series about TRIZ. Each of the little movies are about 3 minutes each and show TRIZ in a fun manner. It might not be PIXAR but it is cute and gets the message across.

They come from Tetris,  program dedicated to developing a course to boost creativity, problem setting and problem solving capacity.   TETRIS - TEaching TRIz at School - is a project with the financial support of the Life Long Learning Programme 2007 – 2013 “Leonardo da Vinci”

They are available in 6 languages English, French, Italian, German, Latvian and Rumanian!

Another Irish Academic match up as NUI Galway and the University of Limerick get together to support research and development in the west of Ireland.

The President of NUI Galway Dr James J. Browne is quoted as saying:

The fragmentation of Irish higher education prevents the achievement of critical mass, particularly in research, and slows down the drive towards internationalisation.

The focus of this “Strategic Alliance” seems to be in the areas of Biomedicine, Energy, ICT and Civic Engagement
